Stuck in a rut? Break free into the life God dreams for you…

Is your heart all tangled up today? Maybe with too many good things or not-so-good things? How’s your relationship with God? Your marriage? Your calling?

Is God telling you to stop?

Stop what you are doing so that I can show you what “becoming new” things I have in mind for you.

Season of hibernation, when much of the world lies buried under the white stuff, is a good time to be still and silent to better hear Deep calling to the ever-growing-deeper. A time to look inward where God speaks in the secret places in order to BREAKOUT of all that holds you — and me — back.

Then exhale. Regroup. Grow stronger. Better. More in line with God’s will for your life.

At regular intervals we need to step back to better hear how to go forward. That said, during February will be fasting from blogging for such a time as this.

Thank you for grace, my friends.

New posts will begin appearing next month, but during the interim I’m leaving you with a list of links to your favorite posts.

  1. Sheila, this sounds like an excellent resource and I can’t wait to hear more about it! In this season it pays to sit with the silence and stillness that often come naturally to our bodies if not our souls. I love the thought of withdrawing for a while in order to move forward with greater insight and purpose. To “exhale. Regroup. Grow stronger. Better. More in line with God’s will for your life.” is a wise thing to do. May you sense a greater depth of insight speaking to you as you make more time for God. Then continue to offer godly wisdom and support as you do so wonderfully here. Thinking of you, my friend, and praying that the warmth of God’s presence will atone for the wintry cold spots around your home. Blessings, love and prayers. Xx

  2. Sheila,
Wisdom to exhale and regroup…I chuckled because I also used the word “Exhale” in my post. Congrats on finishing your manifesto and I pray your time off in February is restorative and deeply refreshing in Christ 🙂

  3. Thanks, Sheila for these great reminders. I pray your month away will deeply refresh you with the Lord’s presence and a clear sense of His direction for you. Congratulations on the book. I look forward to checking it out.

  4. Thank you Sheila. Your words touch my heart once more. I’m looking forward to the new things God is doing next, and trust you are also seeing his hope and life spring up, even in the really cold, snowy days. Love to you and your Michael.
